Diary 18: Homie

Diary 18: Homie

A friend of mine who lives in California is a professional breakdancer.
He was in the Military or French Foreign Legion, sorry, my English was not that good, so I couldn't understand exactly what he said to me. He plays the piano and his physique is robust, which can be seen on his YouTube videos.

However, he now is supposed to be in a hospital. Because he suffered some pancreas cancer and other diseases and had surgery about two months ago.

He calls me a homie, which means close friend. I think that's because I just heard what he talked about his feelings to his former friend who, he thought, was a friend, and I said sympathy. He might have disappointed to be NGed by that person on the web. I understand his feeling in such a tough situation because I had similar experiences before.

He talked to me in English on a webcast and taught me how Americans speak. I appreciate it.

I hope he convalesces and says hello to me as before again. Teacher!!
